When LEGOLAND Florida opens its gates on October 15, the fun is just beginning with 50 rides, shows and attractions. From learning about how structures are made and what makes them strong in Tall Towers to Amazing Machines where students build their own amazing machine equipped with gears, levers, pulleys and motors, teachers can find just the right program to match what they’re learning about in the classroom. We have recently completed a $7 million dollar renovation and every one of our 640 guest rooms was completely refurbished with new furniture, carpet, drapes, lighting, bathroom tile, granite topped vanities. Rooms feature refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, pillow-topped mattresses, European style wardrobe, writing desk with ergonomic chair, complimentary electronic safe, suitable for a laptop and free wireless internet service. We are proud to have been recently awarded the AAA 3 diamond rating and also the Florida Certified Green Lodging designation.  Our efforts to upgrade and improve our property over the past year have prompted the decision to launch our new mid-price brand. Beginning in October we will be known as CLARION INN LAKE BUENA VISTA.

The Disney Magic Music Days name will soon transition to a new name… Disney Performing Arts OnStage, which we feel best addresses the broad array of performing groups that perform “on stage” for guests at the Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort each year.  Along with the name change, we have made a few program updates to better serve all of our guests and hopefully provide even more performance opportunities.

Based on the growing demand for performance opportunities during the 2011 Spring season, our Disney Performing Arts team will be reviewing applications for Disney Performing Arts OnStage (Magic Music Days) add-on performances beginning 6-weeks prior to the requested performance date.  This will allow our team the opportunity to provide the maximum number of performances possible throughout that busy season.
